We use the Anthropic Claude family across three tiers chosen per feature: Claude Sonnet 4.6 generates resume rewrites and cover letters, Claude Opus 4.7 handles judgment-heavy tools (Diagnostic, Heatmap, ATS Simulation, Salary Intel, Interview Prep, Job Evaluation), and Claude Haiku 4.5 handles structured parsing, scoring, and bounded judgments. Skill matching uses Voyage AI embeddings (with a local fallback) to catch paraphrased skills that exact-string matching would miss. Interview Prep also uses Anthropic's web_search tool to ground company research in current public signals.

How accurate are the ATS scores?

We score every resume across six dimensions modeled around modern ATS and recruiter-screening behavior: Parsing Health, Skills Coverage, Recruiter Searchability, Bullet Impact, Recruiter Readability, and Experience Relevance. Five of the six dimensions are deterministic code — they produce the same number every time on the same input. The sixth (Experience Relevance) uses a small bounded LLM judge for title-and-seniority alignment. No simulation is identical to every employer's private ATS configuration, so the score is a directional decision aid rather than a guarantee.

What's the difference between Match Score and Enhancement Score?

Enhancement Score is the same six-dimension rubric applied to the enhanced resume after Swiffit rewrites it for the role. They're directly comparable; the delta is the lift you get. When there's no job description attached, you see a single General Resume Score instead.

What is the no-regression contract?

If we can't actually improve your resume for a specific role, we tell you and keep your original version active rather than ship a worse version. The pipeline scores both the original and the enhanced resume against the job, and if the enhanced version regresses by more than 3 points, the run is treated as a no-op. You'll see a 'couldn't improve' message and your prior resume stays as your active one.
